It is common knowledge that using LCD’s in direct sunlight coupled with extreme hot or cold temperatures is a recipe for disaster. In the blazing heat and with continuous exposure to the sun, LCD’s lose their image, suffer from black spots (“sunburn”) and then overheat and falter. Conversely when exposed to below-zero temperatures, the glare from the snow, and other unfriendly elements of the cold, they simply freeze up. In both cases the damage will almost certainly render the LCD useless and beyond repair.
Now, thanks to Screen-NT’s patented Sunlight System both of these problems are finally and permanently solved. By using adaptive transflective technology, Sunlight Screens are perfectly readable in even the brightest of direct sunlight conditions. As a matter of fact, the brighter the direct sunlight is, the more vivid the image becomes because the sunlight is actually harnessed and used to enhance the LCD’s backlight. And yes, it looks amazing indoors as well!
Lastly, the automatic internal air-conditioning/heating system ensures that the sensitive liquid crystals and internal electrical components remain undamaged on a continuous and long-term basis. Furthermore, the UV and IR filtered protection glass and robust metal housings also protect these unrivaled displays from the elements and vandalism.
